After 6 miles, Eagle Creek trail reaches tunnel (above) that was chipped from solid rock, and passes behind 120 ft. Tunnel Falls. The entire trail was blasted from sheer cliffs in 1910, coinciding with the opening of Oregon's Columbia River Highway.
